President's Message
Astur Gold was created to develop a partnership between the Principality of Asturias and Astur Gold in the development of Salave.
Salave is a world class gold deposit and one of the largest and highest grade undeveloped deposits in Western Europe. This project will require substantial investment and will generate significant economic benefits to the region. Our goal is for the project to be a catalyst for sustainable economic, environmental and community development. As we work with the community and governments to develop Salave, we will adhere to the highest professional standards through open and transparent communications and operations.
We intend to work closely with local communities, regional and federal governments to ensure that the development and operation of the Salave Gold project meets or exceeds all national and international social and environmental regulations.
